Persuasive Writing example

Persuasive Writing Example:  Persuasive writing videos for kids Introduction - Hook: Have you ever just started a thrilling game of gaga ball at recess then the bell rings? Opinion: I think that we need more time in school for recess. Briefly state your reasons:  The three reasons why I think this is because: kids behave better when they have more recess, it gets students more active and healthy and the students will enjoy school more if given a few more minutes with friends. Body paragraphs - Three reasons: The first reason I believe that we should have longer recess is because it is proven that students will more willingly learn their subjects because their behaviour will improve.  Their academics will improve because physical activity helps kids burn off their energy so that they can focus more in class.  Fresh air also help students to clear their minds and think deeper in class.

text talk

Our text talk sessions will begin on Friday.  Six group leaders have been chosen per class to lead a small group discussion on a piece of chosen text.  Each group leader will choose a peer to evaluate their skills. If you are a group leader, please make sure you come prepared on Friday.  I have made a note of all leaders in the calendar if you need reminders. You should be thinking about something you have read that week and come prepared with a printout or electronic copy of it.  You need to be able to summarize your text for the group.  Preparing questions and connections in advance makes it more engaging and interesting. An example of expectations had been modeled in class. Please come and see Ms.Bly is you require any assistance before Friday.
