The tradition of Christmas began as a religious celebration, which has changed over the years.  Today’s modern version of Christmas includes other customs that have more commercial developments.  This discussion will revolve around the business side of Christmas and how it affects society.  Specifically, how much money stores make over the holidays, how much money families spend and what are some strategies companies use to market Christmas.
